Blackbird Design Studio is one of three local designers featured in the Spring/Summer 2017 issue of "Design Community", the quarterly newsletter published by the New England chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Visitors to the Rhode Island Home Show may recognize this pantry as "The Gardener's Oasis", one of Blackbird Design Studio's collaborations with Arnold Lumber in the Home Show's Designer Showhouse. The article accompanying the cover photo includes background on the inspiration for the room and also highlights the contributions of industry partner Jason Sawtelle of Black Beak Studios, whose work was featured not only in "The Gardener's Oasis" but also in other rooms of the Designer Showhouse.
